Define/Refine
I absolutely love learning about what people do, so let's talk! What are our objectives? Which problems are we trying to solve? What does your target market want, and why should they choose you? If you already have a website/digital identity, what could be improved?
Research
It's time for a deep dive. Who is your ideal client, and what are their pain points? We'll create user personas that help us to stay focused on what matters most: your clients. What do your competitors' websites look like, and how you can stand out? Which design trends might be a good fit for your brand?
Plan
Next, we'll use that research to make a plan. What should the structure of your site be? What do we include? What do we emphasize? How should your site make viewers feel? What assets do we need? How will we use text, photos, colors, graphics, animations to connect with the viewer?
Create
Designing without content is like buying an outfit for someone you've never met. You can do it, but it might not fit well. If you've already got the content you need, great! If not, I can help. Thanks to steps 1-3, I understand what you do, so I can write copy and create/find images that can not only reflect but elevate your brand and impress your audience.
Design
Here I'll take everything we've learned and start bringing your new site to life with sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes. We'll test to make sure we're always moving in the right direction. By the end of this stage, you'll have a pretty good idea of how your site is going to look and feel.
Implement
During this stage, all of the design and content gets converted into code and becomes a live website. Note that designing and implementing can overlap or even happen concurrently, depending on the platform we use. After a soft launch to tweak any issues that pop up, it's time to go fully live.
Evaluate
The site is live, but we're not done yet. We still need to do more analysis. Did we accomplish our goals? Most importantly, is the new site solving your user's problems? If not, we go back and repeat earlier steps. If yes, congratulations! You've got yourself a new digital identity!
